The planer sander is engineered for efficient one-pass calibration and surface finishing of solid wood, MDF, veneer, and engineered panels. Designed to remove material accurately while delivering a smooth, consistent finish, it combines heavy-duty planing capability with precision sanding in a single operation.
Precision spiral planer head for high surface quality
The planer head is fitted with 477 carbide knife inserts arranged in a 9-line spiral configuration around the head. This spiral layout ensures continuous cutting engagement and smooth material removal across the full working width. Each carbide insert features a small spiral angle and a carefully engineered arc profile that matches the contour of the roller. This reduces cutting resistance, improves chip evacuation, and delivers an exceptionally smooth, high-quality surface finish.

Integrated Safety & Feed Mechanisms
The GOBI Planer Sander features robust safety mechanisms situated before and after the working units. To guarantee smooth and secure feeding, the infeed zone is equipped with anti-kickback fingers, directional press rollers, and segmented press shoes.
Precision-Engineered Steel Feed Table
Built for long-term industrial durability, the heavy-duty steel feed table is fully through-heat-treated to eliminate internal material stress. It features an exceptional planarity tolerance within 0.03mm, ensuring a perfectly flat reference surface. Additionally, the table surface is fine-ground to a mirror finish, preventing friction and premature wear on the internal side of the conveyor belt.
