Four Finished Surfaces. One Productive Pass.

The Boss Tetra is a heavy-duty four-sided planer designed to size and finish lumber efficiently in one continuous pass. Its four-spindle configuration machines the bottom, sides and top of each work-piece, transforming rough stock into accurately squared material ready for downstream production. Powerful spindle motors, automated positioning and variable-speed feeding make the Boss Tetra an ideal solution for manufacturers seeking dependable output, repeatable dimensions and faster changeovers.

Digital Control Features

  • Syntec PLC control system
  • 10-inch HMI touchscreen
  • Four-axis digital control
  • Servo-driven spindle positioning
  • Automatic feed-beam positioning
  • Storage for up to 200 production settings
  • SIKO digital position readouts

These features support repeatable setups, reduce manual adjustment and help maintain consistent dimensions across production runs.

Automated Width and Thickness Control

The Boss Tetra is engineered for the accurate production of squared, four-sided material. Servo-controlled positioning automatically adjusts the left-side and top spindles, while motorized positioning of the infeed table and fence helps streamline product changeovers.

A laser projection system provides a real-time indication of the finished width and thickness, allowing operators to verify the intended final dimensions before machining begins.

Expand Beyond Standard Four-Sided Planing

Axial positioning allows planer heads to precisely align profile tooling with the work piece, expanding the machine beyond stan dard four-sided planing to produce custom profiles in a single pass. This added flexibility reduces secondary operations, setup time, and material handling while increasing overall productivity.
